Day 2, and I have realized something....I need more protein than Im getting. Ive gotten rid of pop and caffeine completely so adding that on top of this routine was too much for my body. I got the shakes pretty bad even with eating tons of fruits and veggies. So I made myself a balanced meal for dinner. But honestly, subbing two meals a day with the juice is good enough for me until I can get more used to it. So, breakfast and lunch it is! Im not too worried about it, because Im not snacking between meals. Maybe this is considered breaking the diet or whatever, but Im more concerned with how I feel....and I certainly didnt feel right. So tomorrow is another day.

I can't tell if it's killing or if it's making me stronger!
So here I am at lunch having had my second glass of juice for the day. It's gross. That's just it haha! It's definitely the spinach after taste that lingers that's killing me! So far, so good though! Ill update more tonight!
Alright, so night one is finished. I had to do "chasers" to my chugging action of the nastiness that was entering my mouth. Im hoping that the taste gets easier to deal with as I stick through it.
Something that I noticed is, the juice makes me full and not feel hungry anymore, yet I found myself staring at the food my toddler was eating contemplating wanting it myself....Funny how my body thought it needed to snack when in reality I was just fine. Again, this is something that I hope gets easier in the following days.

Countdown to Go-Time!
Ok readers, it's 1:45 am on January 30th, 2012 and in roughly 6 hours Im going to start this shiz!! I think the thing that makes me most nervous is what I need to do with my down time. Im notorious for eating when Im bored, sad, lonely, bored again....and oh yea. Bored. I plan on getting craft on with the kids and begin to try and teach myself how to crochet. Im not setting any time or date points. I dont want to fail at those...this is a good challenge and I think 15 days of drinking juice and eating fruits and veggies is quite enough for a time challenge!

Hello everyone! Im Heather and Im new around these parts. As per the norm this blog is centered around "changing myself." Honestly though, if you all had seen the scale the other day.....well, I think we can all agree to bear with with me on this one and trust me. Simply because internet world....you have no choice. = )
I will now provide you with the ever so important background as to why I need to start this journey. I am 23 and am a wife and a mother to 2 kids. G-man is 3 years old and my H-sweetie was born October 19th, 2011. After H was born I was able to lose the pregnancy weight rather quickly but got lazy, stopped pumping and started eating crappy foods. Every day, all day. So...I gained most of that weight back. = | Simply put, I want it gone and I want to start feeling better. My arthritis takes a toll on me, and if I dont take control of my health now...well. Im afraid Ill wait too long. Plus, this momma needs to do something for herself. Even if it is exercising!
So here is my plan. I want to start this http://jointhereboot.com/reboot-program/the-reboot-entry-plan/ next week and make it through all 15 days. It's a juicing challenge! Im taking baby steps and I think a good juicing/detox is a great way to jump start things. Make a "fresh" start so to speak. Hence the title of this blog. As suggested by a friend, instead of making my own juice and buying produce with the outrageous prices these days, she suggested drinking Naked Green Machine!
Also, on the agenda is to start the 30 day Shred by Jillian Michaels. Again my plan in this is to take it day by day, week by week....month by month. Im better at focusing on the here and now than the long term things.
